The work isolates the system of currents, salt marshes, and sediments that forms the true “gold” of Venice: an unstable balance, continuously rewritten by the slow movement of water.

The drawing does not depict a recognizable place, but an ongoing process.
Water, rendered as a continuous field, interacts with emerged surfaces in a relationship of threshold, accumulation, and transformation.

Acqua, barene e sedimentazioni

Vista zenitale della laguna veneziana, dove l’acqua diventa struttura e deposito.
L’opera isola il sistema di correnti, barene e sedimenti che costituisce il vero “oro” di Venezia: un equilibrio instabile, continuamente riscritto dal movimento lento dell’acqua.

Il disegno non rappresenta un luogo riconoscibile, ma un processo in atto.
L’acqua, resa come campo continuo, dialoga con le superfici emerse in una relazione di soglia, accumulo e trasformazione.
